Mini-Medics Mental Health 1 hour course

Discussing mental health with children can be challenging - so challenging, in fact, that many of us delay it indefinitely, fearing to introduce concepts like anxiety or depression at such a young age. However, instead of shielding children from these topics, it's important to develop their ability to discuss mental health. This course will provide the children with a basic understanding of mental health, including what mental health means, how it is linked to physical health, what to do if they have a worry and the various ways in which they can look after their mental health.
