Phonics (Phases 1 - 5)
Our Phonics course covers an array of topics, including letters and sounds, alphabet mastery and common exception words. These lessons are invaluable for enhancing the reading and writing proficiency of Year 1 and 2 students. Within each lesson you can find fun exercises that create an interactive and enjoyable learning experience.
KS1 Vocabulary
This course enables students to build essential vocabulary skills and knowledge. Students explore vocabulary in the context of non-fiction texts, fiction stories, poems and songs. This course also develops their understanding of language through reading, writing and creative strategies such as games and art.
Course duration: 10 lessons
Year 2 Grammar, Reading & Writing
This course is to help Year 2 students to improve their understanding of key reading and writing skills. It is split into 4 units, Grammar, Writing, Punctuation and Vocabulary/Reading. This will prepare them before they move up to KS2.
Course duration: 2 Terms, 16 lessons each term (32 lessons total)
KS1 Grammar
Our Grammar course focuses on building a solid foundation in English language skills. The course moves through 4 main topic areas: Grammar (word types and tense), Vocabulary (prefixes and suffixes), Punctuation (capital letters and full stops) and Spellings (vowels and consonants).
Course duration: 33 lessons
KS1 Creative Writing
This course will help students to enjoy reading creative writing and to give inspiration to create their own stories. There are opportunities for reading comprehension too, as well as phonics and grammar practice. Students will have plenty of scope to practice speaking and listening.
